Xiaomi Launches Smart Band 11: Brighter Display, Thinner Design, and Enhanced Health Tracking
Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest wearable, the Smart Band 11, in China. This new iteration promises a brighter viewing experience, a sleeker profile, and an expanded suite of health monitoring features, building upon the success of its predecessors. It's important to note that this model is distinct from the existing Smart Band 11 Active, and a "Pro" version may also be on the horizon.

Key Upgrades for the Smart Band 11
The Smart Band 11 retains the familiar pill-shaped design but boasts significant display improvements. While the 1.72-inch AMOLED screen diagonal remains the same, its peak brightness has been boosted to an impressive 2,000 nits, a substantial leap from the Smart Band 10's 1,500 nits. This enhanced brightness ensures superior outdoor visibility, even in direct sunlight.
Xiaomi has also prioritized a more refined aesthetic. The Smart Band 11's body is remarkably slim, measuring under 10mm at just 9.99mm thick. The display bezel has been reduced to a mere 2mm, contributing to a clean, modern look. The device tips the scales at a lightweight 15.58 grams, though it's worth noting that Xiaomi's listed dimensions often exclude the strap and sensor for weight and thickness measurements.
Durable Design and Comprehensive Health Features
Despite its slim profile, the Smart Band 11 maintains a robust 5ATM water-resistance rating, making it suitable for swimming and other water-based activities. Xiaomi continues to offer a variety of material options for the band, including ceramic and metal editions, allowing users to personalize their device.
In terms of health tracking, the Smart Band 11 is packed with features:
Continuous heart rate monitoring
Blood oxygen level tracking (SpO2)
Stress monitoring
Dedicated female health tracking
150 supported sports modes for comprehensive workout tracking
Advanced sleep management, including HRV monitoring and AI-powered sleep insights

Extended Battery Life and Seamless Connectivity
Xiaomi claims that the Smart Band 11 offers improved battery performance compared to the previous generation, with an impressive endurance of up to 21 days on a single charge. The wearable also features NFC support on select variants, facilitating contactless payments and other smart functions. Running on the new HyperOS 4, the Smart Band 11 is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, ensuring broad accessibility.
