In mid-AugustXiaomi announced HyperOS 4with a very unsurprising glass look, and then last week itstarted recruiting eager beta testersfor HyperOS 4 for its global devices. The recruitment seems to have been successful, as today the company has revealed that the first beta build of HyperOS 4 is now rolling out to those in the beta program.
For now, there are only three supported devices: theXiaomi 17 Ultra, theXiaomi 17, and theLeica Leitzphone by Xiaomi. If you have one of these and have managed to get into the beta program, go to Settings > About phone and tap the version number to manually check for the beta update, in case you haven't received the notification yet.

On September 17, so in just two days, the beta will also be opened up to owners of theXiaomi 17T,17T Pro,15, and15 Ultra. It's unclear if the beta will reach any more devices after that. Xiaomi also hasn't announced a timeline for the release of the stable version of HyperOS 4, so that may still take a while.
