Verizon emphasizes its free safety, family, and AI perks

Verizon wants its customers to know they're getting more than just network access, and today it has listed all the perks that come with its plans at no extra cost. These cover safety, family, AI, and loyalty rewards, and some of them you may not have noticed so far.

Eligible customers can also get six months of Google AI Pro for free. Then there's the Verizon Loyalty program, which all postpaid customers on all phone and connected device plans can opt into. It waives activation and upgrade fees, which saves you up to $40 per device. It also gives you 3% back in Verizon Dollars every month, which you can redeem for devices (including the latest smartphones), accessories, gift cards, or hotel rewards. You opt into Verizon Dollars in one step through the My Verizon app. Finally, Verizon Shine lets customers enter weekly for a chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences, alongside daily drops that include concert and sporting event tickets, exclusive merchandise, gift cards, and more.
