Third-generation foldable iPhone said to feature larger displays

Apple is yet to unveil its first foldable iPhone, but a new report claims the company is already planning its second- and third-generation successors. Apple's first foldable, rumored to be called theiPhone Ultra, is expected to debut thisSeptember. In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claims that Apple is already planning a second-gen foldable iPhone for 2027. The report echoes an earlier rumor from June, whichclaimedthe second-gen model would retain the same design as its predecessor.

Gurman also says Apple has begun development of a third-generation foldable iPhone, which is expected to feature larger displays on both the cover and the inside. While the report doesn't reveal the exact screen sizes, Apple's first foldable iPhone isexpectedto feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.8-inch foldable inner screen. Source
