TheTrump Mobile T1 Phonewas supposed to launch last year in August, but many future customers who put a $100 pre-sale order were left empty-handed until now. It looks like the T1 Phone is actually happening as the company started distributing units to media, which in turn means that the actual shipments to customerswill begin shortly.

But there's a catch. If you haven't followed the news around the T1 Phone lately, you will be surprised to see a couple of discrepancies. The most obvious one is thenew design, which is a lot different from the initial one. Also, the American flag at the back has 11 stripes, not 13. Another notable change is the label. The phone isn't made in the US, as first announced, but it's "proudly assembled in the US", which means most, if not all, parts are imported. What hasn't changed is the launch price for the entry-level 256GB model - $499. That's quite affordable in the context of the US market, but on the other hand, the rumored specs don't seem to justify the price. The manufacturer hasn't disclosed any specs, but a representative gave us an idea of what to expect a few months ago - Snapdragon 7 series chipset, 5,000 mAh battery and a 50MP main camera joined by an ultrawide and a dedicated telephoto shooter. What's more, the phone supports microSD storage expansion and has the legacy 3.5mm audio jack on board. Those two rare features and the overall design of the phone suggest that this is actually a rebadgedHTC U24 Prophone from 2024. Source
