Samsung announced the One UI 9 update for the S26 series – it started rolling out inSouth Koreafirst (September 16) andreached the USa week later (September 23). Now, the latest version of One UI (which is built on top of Android 17) has come to the 2025 Galaxy flagships. Galaxy S25,S25+andS25 Ultrausers in Korea are reporting that they received the notification for the new update earlier today. Even the ones that weren’t part of the beta program. If the timing is the same as with the S26 series, folks in the US should get the notification next week. A Galaxy S25 (Korean unit) downloading the One UI 9 update

Additionally, people who were running the One UI 9 beta on theirGalaxy Z Fold7orZ Flip7are now seeing the stable update (we’re not sure about the Z Flip7 FE). This should soon reach users who didn’t participate in the beta test too. Tarun Vats is tracking Samsung’s update rollouts and reports that the stable One UI 9 for the Galaxy S25 series has a build version of S938NKSUCDZIF. It’s a 3.9GB download. As for the Galaxy Z7 users, they are looking for build version F966NKSUCCZIH. It’s a smaller download (around 500MB), but keep in mind that the user who snapped the screenshot is doing a beta-to-stable install. People updating from One UI 8.5 should see a bigger download. This is happeningright on schedule– Samsung Thailand’s press release about One UI 9 said that the Galaxy S25 and Z7 series will get it on September 28. That same press release said that the Galaxy S23 FE (and, presumably, the other S23 models) will get the update “by October”, but that has since been updated to read “later this year”.
