Tecno Spark 50 5G debuts with a 6,500mAh battery, Dimensity 6400 SoC

As expected, Tecno has unveiled its latest Spark series smartphone in India. The Spark 50 is a 5G phone that comes with a 6,500mAh battery and a Dimensity 6400 chipset. It will be available for purchase starting April 3.

You get a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone can be configured with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There’s a microSD card slot available for storage expansion. At the back, you get a horizontal pill-shaped camera bar that’s made out of 6-series aluminum. It houses a single 50MP camera with an f/1.85 aperture and an LED flash.

For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera housed inside a hole-punch cutout. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with an IP64 Pro dust and water resistance rating along with a MIL-STD-810H certification.

Other specifications include dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi with 4×4 MIMO support, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS.

The Tecno Spark 50 5G will be sold in Champagne Gold, Fantasy Purple, Ink Black, and Mint Green color options. Source
