An Indiegogo update confirmed that the upcoming restock of the Pocket FIT 8Elite will "very likely be the final production batch," with no further replenishment planned due to significant increases in storage component prices.

For those unfamiliar, the Konkr Pocket FIT is an Android-powered handheld gaming console featuring a vibrant 6-inch 1080p 144Hz LCD and an 8,000mAh battery. It was offered with a choice between the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets. It is specifically the Snapdragon 8 Elite variant that is being phased out, likely indicating a greater cost sensitivity or lower demand for this particular high-end configuration compared to the gaming-optimized G3 version, which is expected to remain available.

The impact of these rising costs extends beyond Android handhelds. Ayaneo's ambitious Windows-based Ayaneo NEXT 2, a powerhouse machine, has also seen its sales suspended.
