Back in August, insiders claimed thatthe Exynos 2700 beat Qualcomm's next flagship chips in internal testing. Those Snapdragons have since become official, and Samsung has reportedly put its upcoming chip up against them once again. The Exynos 2700 is expected to power at least some models in theGalaxy S27 series, which should arrive early next year.
This time, the tests were allegedly run against theXiaomi 18 Pro Maxand its Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The Exynos 2700 reportedly scored around 13,000 points in the Geekbench 6.5 multi-core CPU test, compared to around 11,000 for Qualcomm's chip, which is about 20% higher. In Geekbench 7.0, it was apparently about 15% ahead. Against the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in theXiaomi 18 Pro, the gap grows to 44% and 36% respectively.

The GPU tests reportedly went Samsung's way too. The Exynos 2700 allegedly delivered about 20% higher peak performance than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in demanding games using the latest graphics technologies, and about 5% higher baseline performance in regular high-end 3D games, though more details aren't available unfortunately.
The Exynos 2600 currently powers someGalaxy S26models and theGalaxy Z Flip8. Its successor is said to be made on Samsung Foundry's second-generation 2nm process (SF2P), with improved Heat Path Block (HPB) packaging to keep temperatures down and boost performance. Of course, these are internal test results, so we'll have to wait for retail Galaxy S27 units to see how the chip actually performs and how efficient it is.
