Samsung sets the date for the Galaxy S26 FE unveiling - it's coming next week

Samsung will introduce a new member of the Galaxy S26 family on Thursday next week (August 27) during its “Galaxy Event August 2026”, which will be livestreamed on Samsung.com and on itsYouTube channel. The event starts at noon 12pm UTC. We’ve seen a leakedEPREL labelthat revealed an A rating for energy efficiency, another A for drop resistance but a C for repairability. The battery is rated for 1,200 charge cycles and can power the phone for 50 hours on a charge (compared to 2,000 cycles and 42:37h endurance for the S25 FE). The phone is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.

Not that this counts as official info, of course. We expect that the upgrade to theExynos 2500will be the biggest change this generation – this was all but confirmed by theGoogle Play Console.
