Samsung's Next-Gen Foldables and S25 Edge Brace for Price Adjustment

While Samsung has absorbed the recent surge in memory chip costs for its existing high-end devices, a new report indicates a potential price adjustment for some of its premium models, including the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge. The changes are reportedly slated to impact consumers in South Korea starting today.

According to insider information, the 512GB configurations of the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy S25 Edge are expected to see an increase of approximately KRW 100,000 (around $65 USD). For those opting for the larger 1TB storage options, the anticipated price hike is around KRW 200,000 (approximately $130 USD).

While the current report focuses on the South Korean market, the possibility of these price adjustments extending to other global regions cannot be dismissed. This comes on the heels of Samsung's latest Galaxy S26 series launch, which already introduced higher price points in various markets, including South Korea where all three models experienced an upward revision.
