Samsung might start taking pre-reservations for the new Galaxy Z foldables tomorrow

Samsung will kick off the pre-reservation campaign for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Flip8 and the new Galaxy Watches tomorrow, July 8, claims tipster Abhishek Yadav. This tracks with Samsung’s usual timeline. For example, pre-reservations for the Galaxy S26 series started onFebruary 11, exactly two weeks ahead of the official unveiling on February 25. Samsung has let it slip that the new foldables will be unveiled onJuly 22, i.e. exactly two weeks after tomorrow.

The company just confirmed that the Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra will feature theSnapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The Z Flip8 will as well, at least inselect regions– it will use the Exynos 2600 in Europe and South Korea. Speaking of chipsets, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 should use theSnapdragon Wear Elite.
