Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 won't upgrade battery, charging

Last month, we heard that theSamsung Galaxy Z Flip8 will have a 4,300 mAh battery, the same as last year'sGalaxy Z Flip7. A new rumor out of South Korea confirms it, while also shedding light on the Flip8's battery charging speed. The source claims that the Galaxy Z Flip8 won't get any charging speed upgrades either, meaning the smartphone will support 25W wired charging. That's not just the same as last year's Flip7, but also theFlip4launched in 2022, as Samsung hasn't upgraded the charging speed on the Flip models since then.

If Samsung won't increase the Flip8's battery capacity, it should at least increase the charging speed, especially since it'srumored not to get any camera upgrades either. Here's hoping next year's Flip9 will come with substantial upgrades. Source(in Korean)
