The Flip8 will measure 166.8 x 75.4 x 6.6 mm when unfolded and 85.4 x 75.4 x 13.2 mm when folded. That makes it a tiny bit longer, wider, and thicker thanits predecessorfrom last year when unfolded, but we do mean atinybit - you won't notice any change in real life. That said, it will be half a mm thinner when folded, for what it's worth.

The Flip8 will have a 6.9-inch internal screen and a 4.1-inch cover display. Those sizes are identical to the Flip7's. Overall, there are no visible changes between the generations. This means that any upgrades that this year's model will pack will be confined to the inside.
