TheSamsung Galaxy S27has already made the rounds through several certification databases, and today it has passed through another one. The handset, bearing the model number SM-S952B/DS, has just been approved by India's Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and it's the first member of the S27 family to get there.
Samsung mobile phone certification for India S952.
Unfortunately, the BIS listing doesn't reveal any specs, but we already know a fair bit from the phone's earlier appearances. The same model number recently showed up in the NBD database with a 6.3-inch screen, the Exynos 2700 chipset at the helm, and 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage. Its3C certificationin China, meanwhile, revealed its support for 25W wired charging, which was latercorroborated by UL Solutions. That's the same speed you get with theGalaxy S26, rather disappointingly.
According to past rumors, the Galaxy S27 will have a 50MP main camera using a Sony sensor which will replace the Samsung ISOCELL sensor in its predecessor. The 12MP ultrawide camera and the 10MP telephoto camera will most likely be carried over, though. The S27 will also have a 12MP selfie camera.
