Samsung Galaxy S27 and S27+ could get a new main camera

The SamsungGalaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+are now said to be in testing with a new 50MP main camera using a Sony sensor. This is notable because Samsung makes camera sensors itself, and obviously likes to use them in its own phones. Testing a new sensor this early in the development cycle does not guarantee that it will actually be used, but it's an interesting development nonetheless.

The S27 and S27+ are expected to be using the same 12MP ultrawide camera that is in theGalaxy S26andGalaxy S26+. On the other hand, the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra will apparently begetting a new 50MP ultrawide and a new selfie camera. The Galaxy S27 family with its four members is most likely going to be unveiled in early 2027. Source(in Dutch)
