Even though the Samsung Galaxy A57 only recently hit the market in March, Samsung is already deep in development for its successor, the Galaxy A58. This intel comes directly from the GSMA Association's database, offering a first glimpse at Samsung's upcoming device pipeline.

While specific features and specifications for the Galaxy A58 remain under wraps, its presence in the database confirms its existence and points to a model number SM-A586x. The 'x' suffix likely denotes regional variations. The database entry specifically lists the SM-A5860, indicating an upcoming release for the Chinese market.

But that's not all. The GSMA database has also revealed that Samsung is actively preparing a new iteration of its rugged smartphone line: the Galaxy XCover FR.
