Samsung's Galaxy A27firstsurfaced in November, and more recently wesaw it in the Geekbench databasein early April, thenit starred in some leaked rendersnot long afterwards.
Today Samsung itself has confirmed that the Galaxy A27 is a real device that is coming soon. It's not surprising, of course, but it's still good to have an official confirmation. The Korean company still hasn't unveiled the phone, by the way, but it has listed it as compatible with Samsung Wallet on its Brazilian website, as you can see in the screenshot below.

The Galaxy A27 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM. It will run Android 16 when it launches. Its design is in line with that of the already availableGalaxy A37andGalaxy A57. Past rumors claimed the A27 would come with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. It will allegedly get a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
