Xiaomi's budget-friendly brand, Redmi, has officially unveiled the Redmi M100 in China. This new device, discreetly added to the Xiaomi website, boasts a substantial 7,900 mAh battery, making it a compelling option for users prioritizing longevity.
The Redmi M100 features a generous 6.9-inch LCD display. While the resolution is set at 720x1600 pixels, the screen offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 825 nits, ensuring a pleasant viewing experience even in bright conditions. Under the hood, the device is powered by the capable Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC, designed to deliver efficient performance for everyday tasks.
Photography enthusiasts will find a 13MP sensor on the rear for capturing moments, complemented by a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The standout feature remains the enormous 7,900 mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging to quickly refuel the device. The Redmi M100 runs on Xiaomi's latest HyperOS 3, offering a modern and feature-rich software experience. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 170.12 x 78.42 x 8.8 mm and weighs 232g.
Customers can choose from three distinct color options: Wilderness Green, Star Rain White, and Deep Night Black. The Redmi M100 will be available in several memory configurations to cater to different user needs:

While global availability of the Redmi M100 is currently unconfirmed, there are strong indications that it may be heading to international markets as the Poco M8x. Leaked specifications for the Poco M8x closely mirror those of the Redmi M100, suggesting a potential rebranded release for a wider audience.
