Redmi K100 to get a 50MP rear camera, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

Redmi has revealed more details about the K100 ahead of its launch in China onOctober 26. The phone will join theRedmi K100 ProandK100 Pro Max, which were unveiled in August. The Redmi K100 willfeaturea dual-rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP Light and Shadow Hunter 800 main sensor with a 1/1.55-inch sensor size and an f/1.68 aperture.

In another Weibo post, Redmirevealedthat the K100 will feature symmetrical dual speakers, seven antennas for improved connectivity, and an 0815 X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback.

Redmi had previously confirmed that the K100 will pack a 10,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. The phone will also feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. The Redmi K100 will be available in three colors, including a new Firefly Green shade. Pre-orders are already open through Xiaomi’s official website in China.
