Redmi 17 5G certifications reveal its RAM/storage options and battery capacity

The global Redmi 17 5G will be the successor to theRedmi 15 5G, as Redmi is skipping the number 16 just like Xiaomi did last year. Now, the Redmi 17 5G has been certified for sale in Malaysia by SIRIM and Taiwan by NCC. These certifications have revealed its model number, 26062RN92G, and the fact that it will be available in four RAM/storage configurations: 4/64GB, 4/128GB, 4/256GB, and 8/256GB. The phone will pack a 7,500 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

The Redmi 17 5G will obviously support 5G, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS. It will be IP64 rated for dust and splash resistance. The Redmi 15 5G was launched in early August last year, and we wouldn't be surprised if its successor beats it by a few days at least, arriving before the end of this month.
