Poco M8 Power is on its way as a rebranded Redmi

Earlier today,Redmi unveiledtheNote 17andNote 17 Proin China. The former has the model number 26021RN18C. Meanwhile, in the latest HyperOS firmware build, references to a Poco M8 Power have been found, and this one has the model number 26021PC18I.

Based on the model number, the Poco M8 Power is almost certainly going to be a rebranded Chinese Redmi Note 17. Whether this means that the global and/or Indian Redmi Note 17 will have different specs compared to the Chinese one remains to be seen - it's not above Xiaomi's various sub-brands to market the same device in the same market under multiple names. But the Poco M8 Power should pretty much inherit the specs of the Chinese Redmi Note 17.
