The benchmark results show the Poco F9 Ultra achieving a commendable single-core score of 2,980 and a multi-core score of 10,030. Under the hood, the device is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The tested prototype was equipped with 16GB of RAM, though it's anticipated that other memory configurations will be offered at launch.

Interestingly, the Poco F9 Ultra is running on Android 16. While Android 17 has been available for some time, it's not uncommon for Xiaomi and its sub-brands to adopt new Android versions at a slower pace. If the F9 Ultra launches in the coming weeks, it might indeed ship with Android 16 out of the box.

Rumors suggest that the Poco F9 Ultra could be a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro Max, with a notable difference being a potentially smaller 8,050 mAh battery. Aside from the battery, the rest of the specifications are expected to align closely. This includes a substantial 6.9-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1200x2608 and an impressive 185Hz refresh rate, complemented by a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The camera system is also expected to be top-tier, featuring a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP selfie camera.
