Oppo Reno16 and 16 Pro arrive globally with specs changes

Exactly one month after they wereannouncedin China, Oppo’sReno16andReno16 Proare now making their way to the global markets, but not without some changes.

But that’s not the only change as the global Reno16 Pro inherits a smaller 6,700mAh Si-C battery compared to the Chinese version’s 7,000mAh cell. The vanilla version also gets a 6,700mAh Si-C battery in some regions, while European units will feature an even smaller 6,000mAh capacity. All Reno16 devices support 80W SuperVOOC wired charging.

But there is some good news, the global Reno16 Pro gets a faster 144Hz refresh rate screen. It’s a 6.32-inch AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, just like the Reno16, but the latter is limited to 120Hz. In terms of cameras, the Pro model features the exact same setup as the Chinese model. You get a 200MP main shooter armed with Samsung’s S5KHP5 sensor alongside a 50MP ultrawide (GC50F6) and a 50MP (Samsung JN5) telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. Reno16 display and cameras

The non-Pro Reno16 features the same telephoto and ultrawide modules but opts for a lower resolution 50MP main cam armed with a Sony LYT-600 sensor.
