Oppo Find N7: Leaked Camera and Display Specs Hint at a 2027 Foldable Powerhouse
Whispers are circulating about the upcoming Oppo Find N7, with early details suggesting a Q1 2027 launch, potentially in March, mirroring the release schedule of its predecessor, the Find N6. While Oppo remains tight-lipped, a prominent leak from Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shed light on key camera and display advancements.
According to DCS, the Oppo Find N7 is slated to boast a cutting-edge 2nm chipset and a substantial 7.6-inch folding display. A standout feature appears to be a refined, seamless hinge mechanism, promising a more immersive and durable foldable experience. This contrasts with the Find N6's display configuration, which featured a 6.62-inch cover screen and an 8.12-inch folding panel. Interestingly, a prior rumor suggested a wider form factor for the Find N7, akin to the Apple iPhone Duo, with a 5.5-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch folding display. The exact design is still subject to speculation.
Further insights from DCS indicate that current engineering samples of the Find N7 are equipped with a Samsung display. The camera system is particularly impressive, featuring a formidable 200MP primary sensor. This is complemented by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, offering versatile photography options. A 3MP multispectral unit is also mentioned, potentially enhancing color accuracy and imaging capabilities. Significantly, the camera setup will benefit from Hasselblad's renowned tuning, a collaboration that has consistently delivered exceptional photo quality in previous Oppo devices.
In terms of power, the Find N7 is also rumored to pack a substantial 6,500 mAh battery. This represents a notable increase of 500 mAh over the Find N6's battery capacity, suggesting improved endurance for the next-generation foldable.
