Oppo Find N6: A Foldable Favorite Facing Availability Hurdles

The latest iteration of Oppo's book-style foldable, the Find N6, has generated significant excitement among tech enthusiasts. Building on the success of its predecessor, the Find N5, the N6 boasts impressive upgrades, including a virtually invisible "zero-feel" crease, a powerful 200MP main camera, and a substantial 6,000mAh Si/C battery. These advancements position the Find N6 as a compelling option for those seeking a premium foldable experience.

However, the foldable market remains a niche, and not everyone is convinced. Many users expressed that foldables, in general, are not for them, with some specifically seeking more affordable foldable options. As a flagship series, the Find N6 is positioned at the premium end, and its appeal is primarily for those actively in the market for a high-end device of this form factor.

A key concern raised by some voters revolves around the camera system. While the 200MP main sensor is a headline feature, its 1/1.56” size and small 0.5µm pixels have drawn criticism. The other sensors also appear to be on the smaller side, an area where traditional bar phones still hold an advantage.
