While maintaining similar dimensions and display diagonals to its predecessor, Oppo has completely re-engineered its folding mechanism. The new second-generation Titanium Flexion hinge is 11% wider and features a more gentle teardrop bend when the screen folds. This innovative design minimizes wear-and-tear over time, contributing to the device's longevity.

A standout innovation is Oppo's proprietary "Zero-feel crease" technology. Traditional folding phone creases arise from minute height variations between the hinge's numerous components, causing the flexible screen to sit unevenly. Oppo addressed this by employing laser scanning to measure the hinge surface with an astonishing 0.3-micrometer precision. Subsequently, 3D liquid printing is used to apply polymer droplets, which are then UV-cured layer-by-layer. This meticulous process drastically reduces hinge unevenness from approximately 0.2mm to just 0.05mm, resulting in a virtually undetectable crease.

Further enhancing the display's resilience, Oppo's "auto-smoothing Flex Glass" folding display layer is now 50% thicker, boasts 100% better shape recovery, and is 338% more resistant to deformation. Oppo emphasizes that the screen actively "springs back" to a flat state upon unfolding.

These engineering advancements mean the crease will feel significantly less prominent during use and is designed not to worsen over the device's lifespan. The Oppo Find N6 has earned TÜV Rheinland certification for 600,000 folds with maintained flatness, and up to an impressive 1 million folds overall, assuring long-term durability for users.
