Oppo releases ColorOS 16 August update with new features and improvements

Oppo has just started seeding an update to the existing ColorOS 16 to eligible devices. The August update brings an AI Remix Collage, security improvements, new Home Screen functionalities, Currency Converter widgets and new Notes features.

The AI Remix Collage now has a Smart Cutout that allows you to create stickers or advanced collages with layer controls. The Security and Phone Manager apps can block suspicious app activity on the fly, as well as malicious popups and rogue apps that drain your battery. Users will receive real-time alerts when something is happening. With the new update, you can now clear all your notification badges with a simple pinch-out gesture. You also get 2x2 and 4x2 Currency Converter widgets with real-time exchange rates. The Notes app also becomes more advanced. You can now draw, highlight and annotate directly onto an image within your notes. The update is available to Oppo Find N5 and N6 foldables, the entire Find X9 series and the Find X8 and X8 Pro. The Reno5 and Reno6 series are also eligible for the update. Source
