Nothing OS 5.0 officially debuts, rollout detailed

Nothing OS 5.0, based on Android 17, will be released in open beta tomorrow, on August 26, at 11:00 BST (that's 12:00 CEST, 13:00 EEST, and 15:30 in India). It will initially only be available for theNothing Phone (3). More devices will join "over the coming months", starting with theNothing Phone (4a) Proin early September, thePhone (4a),Phone (3a)and(3a) Proin late September, thePhone (2a)and(2a) Plusin mid-October, and thePhone (4b)in mid-December. ThePhone (3a) LiteandCMF Phone 2 Prowon't have an open beta program.

The general public release of Nothing OS 5.0 for the Nothing Phone (3) will be out in mid-October. Then, in early November, the Nothing Phone (4a), (4a) Pro, (3a), and (3a) Pro will get it, followed by the Nothing Phone (2a) and (2a) Plus in mid-November, the Phone (3a) Lite in late December, and the Phone (4b) and CMF Phone 2 Pro in mid-January next year.
