Nothing Phone (4a), (4a) Pro, (3a), and (3a) Pro are now receiving the stable update to Android 17

Nothing OS 5.0 Hits More Devices: Android 17 Update Rolls Out to Nothing Phone (4a) Series and More

Exciting news for Nothing Phone users! Following the recent stable rollout of Nothing OS 5.0, based on the latest Android 17, to the Nothing Phone (3), the company is expanding the update to four additional models. The Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro, Phone (3a), and Phone (3a) Pro are now receiving this significant software upgrade.

As with most phased rollouts, the Android 17 update won't reach all eligible devices simultaneously. To check for the update manually, navigate to Settings > System > System update on your device. Nothing advises users to back up their data before proceeding and notes that temporary increases in power consumption and device warmth during installation are normal, with performance returning to baseline post-update.
