Motorola Razr 2026 Series US Pricing and Release Details Emerge
Get ready for a foldable future! Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest generation of Razr devices, and new information has surfaced regarding their US availability and pricing. While the international reveal is slated for April 29th, a French report is shedding light on what North American consumers can expect.
It appears Motorola will continue its strategy of rebranding for the US market, introducing an additional model to the lineup. The international Razr 70 will land stateside as the Razr 2026, while the Razr 70 Ultra will be known as the Razr Ultra 2026. A new player, the Razr+ 2026, will sit between these two, offering a compelling mid-tier option.
Mark your calendars: the new Razr series is reportedly set to hit North American shelves on May 21st. Accompanying this release will be a price adjustment, with the standard Razr and Razr+ models seeing a $100 increase, and the Ultra variant experiencing a $200 hike.
Here's a breakdown of the anticipated US pricing and specifications:
- Motorola Razr 2026: Starting at $799.99, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
- Motorola Razr+ 2026: Starting at $1,099.99, equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
- Motorola Razr Ultra 2026: Starting at $1,499.99, boasting 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Powering the entry-level Razr 2026 is expected to be the Dimensity 7450X SoC, a likely upgrade from its predecessor. While other specifications remain largely consistent, expect a bump to a 4,800 mAh battery and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
The Razr+ 2026 will retain its familiar inner screen size but will be supercharged by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. A significant upgrade comes in the form of a 165Hz refresh rate for the display, a step up from the 120Hz on the standard model. This device will feature a 4,500 mAh battery with support for faster 45W wired charging. Both models are rumored to share the same camera system, IP48 water and dust resistance rating, and will launch with Android 16.
