Motorola Edge 70 Pro to debut on April 22, key specs revealed

After a series ofteasers, Motorola has officially announced the launch date for the Edge 70 Pro, while also confirming several of its key specifications. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will debut in India on April 22 and will be available via Flipkart, Motorola’s official online store, and offline retailers.

It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC and will feature a 4,600 mm² vapor cooling chamber. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

Motorola also confirmed that the Edge 70 Pro will sport a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits.

The phone will come with a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary Sony Lytia 710 sensor with OIS. It will also get a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP selfie camera, and a multispectral sensor.

The Edge 70 Pro will pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. It will run Android 16 out-of-the-box and support 3 years of OS updates as well as 5 years of security patches. The phone will also come with several AI features.

Other features include Gorilla Glass 7i protection at the front, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, and Hi-Res audio support with Dolby Atmos. It will be available in Pantone Lily white, Pantone Tea, and Pantone Titan color options. Source
