Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Lands in India: A Familiar Flagship Refreshed

Motorola has officially launched the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ in the Indian market, bringing a compelling blend of familiar specifications and refined design. This latest offering is essentially a rebranded version of the global Motorola Edge 70 Pro, distinguishing itself with a notable 50MP telephoto camera boasting 3.5x optical zoom.

Consumers can choose from three sophisticated color variants: Pantone Chicory Coffee (a rich brown), Pantone Zinfandel (a vibrant red), and Pantone Stormy Sea (a deep blue).

The display on the Edge 70 Pro+ is a generous 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a crisp FHD+ resolution and an exceptionally smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Protected by durable Gorilla Glass 7i, the screen can achieve an impressive peak local brightness of up to 5,200 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright conditions.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the potent MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset. This is complemented by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage, providing ample power and speed for demanding tasks and multitasking.

The camera system is a highlight of the Edge 70 Pro+. The rear setup features a 50MP main camera utilizing a Sony LYTIA-710 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is accompanied by the aforementioned 81mm-equivalent 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Adding to the impressive imaging capabilities, a fourth 50MP sensor is housed in the punch-hole cutout on the front.
