Motorola has a number of “G Power” phones available in India, ranging from theMoto G37 Power, through theG57 Powerto theG67 Power. Now the company has unveiled the next entry in this list, though it’s more of a mix of the existing models than an upgrade. TheMotorola Moto G77 Powerboasts a 7,000mAh battery – it’s a defining feature of the G Power series that it shares with its three siblings above. Like them, it supports 30W TurboPower charging and 6W reverse charging. Motorola Moto G77 Power

The phone is based on theDimensity 6400, the same chipset that is used in the G37 Power for India. The G57 Power and G67 Power use Snapdragon chips instead, the 6s Gen 4 and 7s Gen 2, respectively, though we should note that those two were unveiled in late 2025, while the G37 Power is from this April. Anyway, the chip is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is a microSD slot (for cards up to 1TB), a trait shared with the G37 Power (while the other two don’t have expandable storage). The phone launches with Android 16 and will receive 1 OS update (to Android 17) plus 3 years of security patches. The Moto G77 Power has a 6.72” LCD with 1,080 x 2,400px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, similar to its siblings. It’s an 8-bit panel that can reach 1,050 nits in high brightness mode. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side. The Moto G77 Power has a 6.72” 120Hz LCD, 50+8MP rear and 32MP front cameras

Punch-holed into the display is a 32MP selfie camera (0.7µm pixels, f/2.2 fixed-focus lens). This is notable as only the G67 Power has a 32MP selfie camera, the other two only got 8MP sensors. On the back is a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 sensor in the main camera (0.8µm pixels, f/1.8 lens with PDAF). Joining it is an 8MP ultra-wide (1.12µm pixels) with a 120° lens (f/2.2, fixed focus). All three cameras on board record 1080p video, but only the main camera can do it at 60fps. The Moto G77 Power has a 7,000mAh battery, a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack

The USB-C port is wired only for USB 2.0 data – not surprising on a model in this class. The good news is that the 3.5mm headphone jack from the other Power models remains available – it has a Hi-Res Audio certification and supports FM radio. Additionally, there are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. This is a 5G phone with sub-6GHz connectivity. It has dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.4, but NFC is not available. The phone is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance (dust tight, splash resistant) and has passed MIL-STD-810H testing. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone measures 8.9mm thick and weighs 215g. Moto G77 Power key features
