Commenting on Mivi's entry into the Indian smartphone market, Viswanadh Kandula, Co-Founder, Mivi, said, "The first decade of Mivi was about proving that an Indian company could build, design and manufacture consumer technology for discerning Indian consumers. Smartphones are the natural next steps in that journey. Our goal is to build similar end-to-end capabilities in-house for smartphones. This is the kind of ambition we enter any space with and we are excited to start the journey of building ground up capabilities in the country. Mivi One is not just our first smartphone; it is the first expression of our ambition to build a global consumer technology company from India."
