Lava Agni 4N: Premium Metal Build Takes Aim at Samsung
Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava is gearing up for its UK launch with the highly anticipated Agni 4N. For over a week, Lava has been playfully taunting competitor Samsung, and their latest teaser continues this trend, offering a sneak peek at the Agni 4N's sophisticated metal construction.
A recent teaser video shared by Lava UK on X (formerly Twitter) showcases the Agni 4N, definitively confirming its metal build. The device sports a distinctive horizontally arranged camera module on the rear, reminiscent of its predecessor, the Agni 4. The right-hand frame is equipped with the familiar volume rocker and power button.
The accompanying caption, "Dear SAM, Watch and Learn," is a direct jab at Samsung, subtly referencing their recent smartphone releases that have featured plastic builds. This deliberate messaging highlights Lava's focus on delivering a more premium feel.
This isn't Lava's first foray into targeting Samsung. A previous teaser humorously stated, "Some habits are harder to recycle than others," again alluding to the perceived shortcomings of some Samsung devices, such as their reliance on plastic materials.
Lava's critique extends beyond build materials. The company has also subtly pointed out perceived weaknesses in Samsung's offerings, including monotonous design language, pre-installed bloatware, sluggish performance, and slow charging speeds. Adding to the playful rivalry, Lava UK's X bio boldly states, "Escape the SAMe cycle."
With the Agni 4N poised to enter the UK market, expect Lava to continue its aggressive promotional campaign, likely with more teasers and targeted messaging in the days leading up to the official launch.
