iQOO Neo12 debuts with a 9,000mAh battery, 185Hz display

iQOO’s latest Neo series smartphone has launched in China. TheiQOO Neo12gets an in-built active cooling fan and is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The Neo12 comes with the custom 59-blade fan that is claimed to have increased airflow by around 10%. The handset also gets a large 3D Ice Dome vapor chamber for improved thermal efficiency.

In terms of optics, the handset gets a 50MP Sony IMX921 main rear sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. For selfies, a 16MP sensor is available up front. The phone packs a large 9,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. It also gets features such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, IP69 rating, and stereo speakers.

It is already available forpurchasein China and starts atCNY 4,199 ($630)for the 12GB/256GB model. The 12GB/512GB and 16GB/256GB options are priced atCNY 4,899 ($735)andCNY 4,599 ($690), respectively. There’s also a 16GB/512GB variant with a price tag ofCNY 5,299 ($825)and a 16GB/1TB option that is available forCNY 6,299 ($945).
