Infinix HOT 70 Pro Officially Launched: A Spectrum of Stunning Finishes and Key Upgrades
Infinix is turning heads with the official release of the Infinix HOT 70 Pro, a device that not only boasts impressive specifications but also a dazzling array of color options designed to capture attention. Following in the footsteps of its non-Pro counterpart, the HOT 70 Pro introduces several "special edition" finishes that set it apart.
Among these unique finishes are Thermo Orange, which ingeniously shifts its hue based on temperature fluctuations; Mirage Green, designed to illuminate like a celestial tapestry under UV light; and Silk Glow Purple, featuring an embedded nanocrystal texture for a dynamic, shimmering effect on its back panel. Adding to the premium feel, Depth Ring White offers a sophisticated 3D visual experience.
For those who prefer a more classic aesthetic, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro also comes in two traditional yet elegant options: Night Pulse (a deep black) and Dive Blue.
While all variants share a uniform weight of 205 grams, slight variations exist in thickness. The Thermo Orange, Dive Blue, and Night Pulse models measure 7.85mm, while the Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, and Depth Ring White are marginally thicker at 7.95mm.
Under the Hood: Powerful Performance and Display Excellence
The Infinix HOT 70 Pro is engineered for performance, featuring a vibrant 6.76-inch 1080p IPS LCD display. This screen offers an adaptive refresh rate that dynamically adjusts between 45fps, 60fps, 90fps, 120fps, and an exceptionally smooth 144fps, ensuring a fluid visual experience for gaming and everyday use.
Powering the device is a robust battery, available in either 5,600mAh or 6,000mAh capacities depending on the region. Charging is rapid, with support for 45W wired charging, and conveniently, the charger is included in the box.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera, boasting a 1/1.95-inch sensor for impressive detail and clarity. An additional 8MP camera is also present, though its specific function (likely a macro or depth sensor) is yet to be fully detailed.
Underpinning the HOT 70 Pro's capabilities is the efficient 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. This octa-core processor, comprised of four Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A75 cores, is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, ensuring seamless multitasking and responsive operation. The device also comes equipped with 5G connectivity for faster data speeds.
In terms of durability, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro achieves an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, capable of withstanding submersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Additionally, it carries MIL-STD-810 certification, though the specific tests covered are not explicitly stated by Infinix.
Adding a unique touch, a dedicated AI button powered by Folax is integrated into the right side of the phone. Furthermore, the HOT 70 Pro features an Active Matrix Cube LED display embedded within the third camera lens housing on the rear, offering an innovative notification and aesthetic element.
The software experience is powered by Android 16 with Infinix's XOS 16 overlay. Infinix is committed to long-term support, promising three major OS updates and five years of security patches for the HOT 70 Pro.
