Honor Play 80 Pro Unveiled: A Massive 7,000 mAh Battery Leads the Charge
Honor has officially launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Play 80 Pro, in the Chinese market. This new device aims to capture attention with a standout feature: an enormous 7,000 mAh battery, promising extended usage for power users.
Honor Play 80 Pro: Visuals and Design
The Honor Play 80 Pro sports a 6.8-inch LCD display, offering a resolution of 720x1610 pixels. While details on the refresh rate are scarce, the official listing suggests a standard 60Hz panel, given the absence of any mention of higher refresh rates. The display does boast an impressive 850-nit peak brightness, which should ensure good visibility even in bright outdoor conditions.
Available in three classic color options – blue, white, and black – the Play 80 Pro measures 166.89 x 76.8 x 8.24 mm and has a weight of 207g. The device also comes with an IP65 certification, providing essential protection against dust and splashes.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 80 Pro runs on Android 15, overlaid with Honor's proprietary MagicOS 9. For photography, it features a 50MP main camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The standout feature, however, remains the substantial 7,000 mAh battery, which should alleviate battery anxiety for many users.
