Honor 700 Series Leaks: Teleconverter Support and Premium Features Emerge

The upcoming Honor 700 series is generating significant buzz ahead of its anticipated China launch next month. Recent insights from prominent Weibo tipsters are shedding light on what appears to be a feature-rich lineup, with a particular focus on advanced camera capabilities and refined design.

According to Digital Chat Station (DCS), both the standard Honor 700 and the Honor 700 Pro are expected to boast support for a remarkable 200mm teleconverter. This suggests a significant leap in zoom capabilities for the series. Beyond the camera, DCS also hints at a display characterized by ultra-narrow bezels, a substantial battery, an integrated rear screen, a powerful Snapdragon chipset, and a periscope telephoto lens. The series is also rumored to have a prominent brand ambassador.

Further details come from tipster Smart Pikachu, who indicates that reservations for the Honor 700 series are imminent. This source corroborates several key features, including:

• 100MP-class imaging for impressive detail.
• Ultra-long battery life, addressing a common user concern.
• A display with ultra-narrow bezels for an immersive viewing experience.
• A distinctive and "creative" rear screen.
• Teleconverter support, aligning with DCS's report.
• A trendy design aesthetic.
• The inclusion of Live Photos functionality for both front and rear cameras.

Smart Pikachu also alluded to a new brand ambassador, specifically tagging Chinese actress Ju Jingyi, potentially identifying the "A-list celebrity" mentioned by DCS.

Additional information from a previous DCS post indicates that the Honor 700 family might include three distinct models. An engineering prototype of the Honor 700 Pro reportedly features a 6.57-inch 1.5K screen with uniform ultra-narrow bezels on all sides. It's also said to sport a 1.72-inch rear screen, a high-resolution 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a substantial battery nearing 9,000 mAh – the largest within the series. Color options for the Honor 700 series are rumored to include shades that translate to Cool White, Clear Sky, Blues, and Pink Mist.
