Honor 600 series China launch date, design, and color options revealed

Honor has confirmed the launch date, design, color options, and storage configurations of both smartphones. In a post on Weibo, the company confirmed that the Honor 600 series will launch in China on May 25. The smartphones are already available for pre-order in the country.

Honor has also revealed the design of the upcoming devices, although it has yet to disclose their full hardware specifications. One notable change is the redesigned rear camera module, which sets the Chinese variants apart from the global models. While the global Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro feature a rectangular camera island, the Chinese versions adopt a pill-shaped horizontal camera bar.

The standard Honor 600 will sport a dual rear camera setup, while the Honor 600 Pro is confirmed to feature a triple-camera system headlined by a 200MP main sensor. Meanwhile, the Chinese Honor 600 Pro will pack an 8,000mAh battery, compared to the 7,000mAh battery found in the global variant. As for the standard model, it will get a larger 8,600mAh cell.

On the other hand, the Honor 600 Pro will be sold in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations. It will also be available in the same shades as the standard version.
