Rumors about theiPhone Foldhave been going on for years at this point, and Apple is expected to introduce its first non-slab phone this September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. We now have a new look at how the trio compares size-wise thanks to case moldimagesshared bySonny Dickson.

The Fold features a peculiar, wide design just as previously rumored. We can spot a dual camera setup on the back, which is expected to consist of two 48MP sensors (wide and ultrawide) housed inside a camera plateau like on the iPhone Air. The new images were not accompanied by exact dimensions, but it is evident that the Fold is a lot shorter than the two Pro models.
Its cover display is rumored to measure in the 5.5-inch range, while the internal panel is expected to come in at 7.76 inches when fully opened. Both panels will apparently be wider than any other foldable we’ve seen thus far, with the devicereportedlyrunning an iPad-like UI with side-by-side apps.

In related news, Apple manufacturing partner Foxconn has reportedly started trial production of the iPhone Fold in China but a new report fromNikkei Asia(paywalled) suggests that Apple has encountered setbacks during the engineering test phase which could see the iPhone Fold delayed by months.
Several key component suppliers have allegedly been informed that component production for the Fold may be pushed back indefinitely. If Apple fails to iron out its issues this month, then the Fold’s launch may be pushed by several months.
