Also, the EU forced makers to displayinformative energy labelsthat also list durability and repairability stats. It was all going great, until the price of RAM and flash storage started to skyrocket. Recently, we published aranking of smartphone chipsetsand found that the gap between the fastest chip and the slowest chip is bigger than we expected. Since we live in strange times when manufacturers are raising the prices of old phones instead of lowering them, it’s more important than ever to get the most bang for your buck.
