Google Home Speaker with Gemini finally has an official release date, pre-orders start

Back in August of last year, during the introduction of thePixel 10 family, Google alsoteased an upcoming smart speaker. Then, itannounced it as the Google Home Speakerin October. Now it's finally becoming available, ten months after the first teaser and eight months after the unveiling. The Google Home Speaker will be out on June 25 for $99.99, in four colors: Jade, Berry, Porcelain, and Hazel. Jade and Berry are "US-exclusive colors" for some reason. The Google Home Speaker is powered by an unspecified quad-core CPU using Cortex-A55 cores, paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage. It has a 58mm full-range driver which delivers "omni-directional sound", three far-field mics, and a hardware mic mute switch. It connects via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 and can also act as a Thread 1.3 border router. You can pair up to two speakers with aGoogle TV Streamer"to turn your living room into a mini home theater with spatial surround sound", Google says. Source
