Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2: Bigger Battery Incoming for Enhanced Endurance
Get ready for extended smartwatch adventures! Leaked information suggests the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is set to receive a significant battery capacity boost. According to reports, the Ultra 2 will feature a substantial 784 mAh battery, potentially marketed with a typical capacity of 800 mAh. This represents a notable upgrade from the original Galaxy Watch Ultra, which housed a 590 mAh cell.
Galaxy Watch9 Series: Smaller, Smarter, and Longer Lasting
The advancements aren't limited to the Ultra line. The Galaxy Watch9 series also appears poised for battery improvements. The 40mm model of the Galaxy Watch9 is rumored to pack a 382 mAh battery, with a typical capacity of 400 mAh. This is an increase from the 325 mAh battery found in the 40mm Galaxy Watch8. The 44mm Galaxy Watch9 model is expected to retain the 435 mAh battery capacity of its predecessor, the 44mm Galaxy Watch8.
Samsung is also anticipated to launch the Galaxy Watch9 Classic, rounding out the new smartwatch lineup. These new wearables are expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, with an official unveiling rumored for July 22.
