Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Series Spotted in Google Play Console
The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series is making waves, with recent appearances on the Bluetooth SIG and now, crucially, in Google Play Console's list of supported devices. This latest sighting provides further confirmation of Samsung's upcoming flagship tablets.
The Galaxy Tab S12 lineup is expected to include two distinct models: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The Google Play Console listing details multiple variants for each, with the Tab S12+ appearing in five different configurations and the Tab S12 Ultra in three.
Specifically, the Wi-Fi-only variant of the Galaxy Tab S12+ carries the internal codename "gts12pwifi" and bears the model number SM-X840. Correspondingly, the Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is identified by the codename "gts12uwifi" and model designation SM-X940.
Samsung has previously confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series is slated for a second-half of 2026 release. Given that the previous Galaxy Tab S11 series, featuring the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, was launched in September of last year, it's reasonable to anticipate a similar unveiling timeframe for the upcoming S12 generation.
As the official launch draws nearer, expect more detailed specifications and features for both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra to emerge.
