Samsung Galaxy S27 Charging Speed Confirmed: What We Know So Far
Anticipation is building for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27, and recent certifications are shedding light on its core capabilities. Following its earlier 3C certification last month, which hinted at 25W charging, multiple devices widely believed to be the Galaxy S27 (identified by model code SM-S9520) have now secured approval from Denmark's UL Solutions (Demko). These latest certifications firmly corroborate the previously rumored charging speeds.
The detailed certificates for these models consistently list power ratings of 9V DC and 2.77A. This translates precisely to 24.93W, meaning the new flagship will be officially advertised with a 25W wired charging speed. This specification aligns directly with its predecessor, the Galaxy S26, which debuted with the same charging capabilities earlier in February.
Unveiling Further Power Details
While wired charging specifics are becoming clearer, insights into wireless charging are also emerging. The previous Galaxy S26 supported a respectable 15W wireless charging. Industry observers and tech enthusiasts widely expect the Galaxy S27 to maintain this efficient wireless charging standard, ensuring a consistent user experience.
However, one crucial detail remains under wraps: the battery capacity. The Galaxy S26 featured a 4,300 mAh battery. Whether the Samsung Galaxy S27 will inherit this exact capacity or introduce a different battery size is a key specification eagerly awaited by consumers.
