Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Embraces India with One UI 9 Beta, Second Update Arrives

Samsung is significantly broadening the horizons for its Galaxy S26 series, officially launching the One UI 9 beta program in India. This expansion follows the initial rollout of the Android 17-based One UI 9 beta, which first graced devices in South Korea and subsequently reached the UK and several other European nations. Now, Indian Galaxy S26 owners can join the testing phase for Samsung's latest software iteration.

The One UI 9 beta update arriving in India for the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra carries firmware version S94xBXXU2ZZEQ. This build incorporates the robust June 5, 2026 Android security patch, offering enhanced protection. Users can expect a download size exceeding 3.7GB for this substantial update.

Concurrent with the Indian expansion, Samsung has also pushed out the One UI 9 Beta 2 update in the UK and South Korea. Other regions are anticipated to receive this second beta release shortly. The Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S26 Ultra in the UK, also featuring the June 5, 2026 security patch, is approximately 1.6GB in size.

This second beta iteration focuses on refining the user experience by addressing several key issues:

• Resolved an interruption popup problem with GPUWatch.
• Improved a non-functioning issue within the Routine app.
• Enhanced the display of the status bar.
• Fixed an error where the lock screen clock font failed to update when LockStar was installed.
• Addressed a delay issue during bulk message deletion.
• Corrected a problem causing the lock screen clock to gradually shift downwards.
• Improved an error related to the Game Booster entry point setting.
