Coolpad unveils the Cool X Wide with a 16:10 display and 50MP camera

Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad isn’t a brand we cover often, but the company has just launched the Cool X Wide, a widescreen smartphone similar to theHuawei Pura X View. Naturally, we had to take a closer look. The Coolpad Cool X Wide features a 6.38-inch LCD display with an HD resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a wide 16:10 aspect ratio.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone has a 50MP main rear camera and a macro sensor, however, Coolpad hasn’t revealed details about the phone’s selfie camera.
