Ayaneo Next 2 & Kunlun Fit: Shipping Dates Revealed for Next-Gen Windows Handhelds

Enthusiasts eager to get their hands on Ayaneo's latest Windows gaming handhelds, the Ayaneo Next 2 and Kunlun Fit, have a shipping timeline to look forward to. The company has officially announced when these highly anticipated devices will begin reaching backers.

The Ayaneo Next 2, first showcased in December, is set to commence shipping to Indiegogo backers in June. Ayaneo has confirmed that production of critical components, including the motherboard, display, battery, and other essential parts, has already commenced. Non-essential components have also been finalized, paving the way for assembly.

Ayaneo anticipates commencing trial production of the Next 2 in early June, with mass production slated for mid-June. This schedule suggests that the first wave of orders should begin shipping by the end of June, assuming no unforeseen production delays.

Orders for the Ayaneo Next 2 were closed on March 23rd. The company has stated that it "cannot currently guarantee additional production for new orders." However, interested parties can reach out to Ayaneo's customer service to register their desired configuration and color. Ayaneo may notify select customers about future order opportunities "if circumstances allow," though no promises can be made beyond the current production plan.

In addition to the Next 2, the Kunlun Fit Windows handheld is also moving into production by the end of May. This indicates that the Kunlun Fit is also likely to begin shipping sometime in June, mirroring the timeline of its sibling device.
